HUGS

A forest, trees apart, branches wave but never touch,

The shrouded web, a mist obscure, ice tight grip, cold’s tight numbing fist,

Until the sun, undeterred, punches through, enfolds each trunk in turn

In the enervating boost of its warm embrace.

**HUG a tree, and the nearest individual, and bring a little sun into someone’s life today **
