Parched

Parched1.jpg

He parched me with his kiss
Drained my soul
Baked my heart
In the scorched sky suspended
Glorious globe of his passion.
And now I hunt for small oases
In the ensuing drought
To capture in my Canteen,
A drop or two,
To remind of that huge heart numbing expanse,
Salt stinging spray smarting drought drenching
Engulfing ocean,
Remembrance of waters passed.
