Duality, ying and yang, good and evil, 0 and 1,
We are all essentially binary in nature.
When we take a bite, the Apple still has two sides,
Or take a drink, the glass will, eventually,
Be both half full or half empty.
Only experience enables us to distinguish
Between the two perspectives.
I take a bite to reach the undivided core,
And eat the Apple whole, pips and all.

I Didn’t participate in NaPoWrio last year but liked the Optional prompt for 15/4/2016 so much I’ve used it for today’s poem. Hope you enjoy my continued fascination with Apples and the many metaphors it has “seeded” (pun entirely intentional ^^).
